Extra Information The Musical Times March 1 1874 mentions an upcoming performance. Earlier??-published (not necessarily!) violin/cello sonata opus 17 published in 1872 by Schott. On the other hand, Novello plate 277 from 1870s? 1860s? (Maybe Ewer plate instead, or someone else's?)... Gavotte in E minor Op.20 pub.1878 by Sulzer, also. OTOH, opp.14&15 published by 1868 by Novello.- Schissel / There is also a suite (Prelude, Mazurka, Scherzo and March) for piano alone by Zimmermann reviewed in the Musical Times & Singing-Class Circular in March 1879 and listed in "The Bookseller", April 2, 1879 issue.
