| Extra Information | "Symphony is attributed to Leopold Mozart in Lambach catalogue and is probably genuine Leopold work; in addition theme of slow movement transposed from E♭ to F appears in L. Mozart's Violinschule (Eisen-Symphonies of Leopold Mozart, PhD Diss. 1986--listed there as Bb6 and article in Journal American Musical Society 1986)" — Mozart Forum |
Misc. Comments
I think it is our policy to use thematic/work catalogs when they exist- one has been compiled for Leopold Mozart's symphonies (and possibly for all of his works) by Cliff Eisen (same Eisen as above). Will try to find out which Eisen B-number (B since in B♭) this has, if any, and apply in a rename (Schissel) oh- Bflat6, right above. it's fairly usual to give catalogs in German notation since that avoids diacritics (Es for E-flat, B for B-flat, H for B, etc.)... hrm.
