Misc. Comments

American Symphony notes claim that Mahler conducted this symphony in New York in 1911. This has been confirmed from newspaper reviews of the time.

Arrangement listed as "just published" in a Novello ad in the April 1, 1888 Musical Times, page 200. The full score, one suspects, postdated the arrangement.
