I would have found Sonata No.4 preferable, as 'a little sonata' is something of a nickname - but debatable :) Unfortunately of the McEwen violin sonatas to have been recorded to date this is not I think among them (I know only of a CD of 2, 5 and 6?- 3 CDs of the string quartets though... almost everything on Chandos.)
