Talk:Divertissement sur des motifs originaux français, D.823 (Schubert, Franz)

Looking up the Schubert lists of works by opus number and by Deutsch number, I find in the former two gaps (op. 63 and 84), then looking up the "Datenbank" in the website of the "Neue Schubert-Ausgabe", I'm surprised. We have here the strange case of a work with one Deutsch number, but two opus numbers. Opus 84 is movement 2 and 3 of op.63. At the moment I don't have further information about this. The alternative title "Andantino variée", where do you have it from? Is it the beginning of op. 84 (the second movement of the "Divertissement, D 823)? I'm waiting for further uploads. --Molinarius 16:57, 30 June 2007 (EDT)

This file and the following two are indeed o n e work: The "Tempo di Marcia" was published in June 1826 as "Oeuv. 63. No.1"; the "Andantino varié" and the "Rondo. Allegretto" one year later in July 1827 as op. 84. No. 1 and 2. The Deutsch Catalogue gives the three movements one Number: 823. The complete title is: "Divertissement sur des motifs originaux francais" and so it is a brother of the "Divertissement á l'hongroise", D.818.--Molinarius 09:18, 19 July 2008 (EDT)
