Talk:Jeux (Debussy, Claude)

Ought we call this a Ballet or Symphonic poem, as it is "Poème Dansé?"-- Snailey Talk to Me Email me 00:39, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Why not both? It was written for Diaghilev's Ballet Russes, but is most often performed as an orchestral work without staging. Philip Legge @ © talk 01:03, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, it has to be one Genre in this listing...I know the feeling, though.-- Snailey Talk to Me Email me 01:04, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
I'd call that a bug – since when did everything fit into neat pigeonholes? What happens if you try to specify more than one genre, commas separated? Perhaps Feldmahler should rewrite the code to allow cross-genre works. My 2¢. Philip Legge @ © talk 01:08, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
And you changed your signature - colour doesn't work with links, I'm afraid, otherwise my old, colorful use page would have remained.-- Snailey Talk to Me Email me 01:05, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Yes I did, and for exactly that reason! Top of the class. Philip Legge @ © talk 01:08, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Indeed. Oh, and look on his talk, there's a massive discussion about this, and you actually probably have a lot to offer. My 2ç ;)-- Snailey Talk to Me Email me 01:14, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
