Talk:List of cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach

I think this page looks very nice :) But, the maintenance cost for this kind of page is quite large, because there has to be constant syncing between pages. Of course, theoretically you can use templates, but that would make the IMSLP system unnecessarily complex. However, I won't delete this page, just so people can see what is possible with scrollboxes :) --Feldmahler 20:25, 20 December 2006 (EST)

Yeah, forgot about that. I'll just make a list of links to the pages then instead?

and actually this could be included in each page as a scrollbar?

I'm wondering though if this could be a replacement for all the separate pages, since there is an [edit] for each section? I could make the height of each "window" bigger since there's a TOC. I really don't care how it goes, it's your call, just throwin ideas out there.

Hmm... I'll think about it, but I'm pretty busy for a few days so I probably won't do anything dramatic soon. What you are proposing seems very possible if the Bach category gets too crowded (which it might very well become), but before then I would like to keep it as simple as possible, since what you are proposing shouldn't be hard to add in any case :)

Or I might end up having a separate Bach page, with links to pages listing sections of his total output (like the one you are proposing), but it might be a good idea to do that after the BGA project completes, so that we don't have to add stuff along the way. --Feldmahler 22:21, 20 December 2006 (EST)
