I did not realise computer symthesised recordings were a contentious issue. I have of course put this recording here because you probably can't get a recording of this piece otherwise and guitarists would like to hear it before trying out the two continuo parts. And it is not only guitarists. Probably string players have never played it, and never heard of Lorenzo Allegri, though I performed it years ago. I will of course load up all the performing material for 6 strings / recorders with and without descants etc..... so someone could play it for UTube if they like then..... I thought I had loaded up another Ballet by Allegri but as we found some of the 1st and 2nd time bars were not clear in the parts at this year's summer school I was pleased to have time to revise it..... 1st and second time bars can be a real nuisance where there are upbeat figures.
