There is no record of this being by Ortiz. The work appears to be in Italian and was published in Venice (1542), while the first thing of Ortiz found in Grove online is 11 years later (Naples, 1553). The purported title - "Regola Rubertina" - appears to be a dedication, not the actual title. (The title page is missing from the scan). Carolus 01:35, 1 July 2011 (UTC)

The work is by Silvestro Ganassi as stated in the front page: "Regola Rubertina [woodcut] Regola che insegna Sonar de viola darcho Tastada de Silvestro Ganasi dal fontego" i.e. "Regola Rubertina, rule[book] teaching to play [the] bowed and fretted viol by Silvestro Ganas[s]i of the storehouse". Thanks for pointing that out - I think it would be best to move it to Ganassi's category. Cheers, KGill talk email 15:26, 1 July 2011 (UTC)

I forgot to add that the reproduction does not seem to lack anything, as the table of contents at the end ends with the last present item, the tabulature of the fourth recercare; then, probably it is not an "Incomplete Book". Miwarre 23:17, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
