Talk:Schuberth & Co.

Fritz Schuberth

redirects here, but given that their plate 1146 (apparently, according to another library catalog- an impeachable source, so to speak, I admit, but our source is unreadable and consistent with 1146) may have been printed ca.1870 (need to check) suggests- I need to look further into this (others welcome too... *g*) that their plate table does not "fit into" the other Schuberth & Co. plate table as redirection might suggest- at the least, as with E. Schuberth, a plate table of its own, though small (as we have relatively few Fritz Schuberth publications- the rest not linked to this page, I think) - seems called for poss.?? Also, locations?

Edward Schuberth & Co. at 23 Union Square in 1879, to start with. A location chart can help estimate though a date when only location and not copyright date is available (triangulation, I think it's called? no? not sure... location, plate and date- at least one can try to have the first two and try to estimate the third, but only if one collects information on known plates and known locations - etc.) Eric 16:46, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
