Talk:Symphony No.30 in D minor, MH 393 (Haydn, Michael)

One thing Joseph Haydn was inarguably definitely more original than Michael in was orchestration. As a consequence of that, string parts in Joseph's orchestral works are much easier to put good page turns in. With Michael, the constant presence of the strings is just fine for listening to the music, but when it comes to putting in page turns it's a nightmare. So I'm going to work on the winds before returning to the vexing problem of page turns in the string parts. Alonso del Arte 22:55, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
