Whether this is actually one of Henry VIII's pieces is questionable, but it is traditionally ascribed to him.

The tandernaken tune was a popular vehicle for instrumental variations in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. See also version by Agricola, Lapicida, Brumel, Senfl, and others.
