This template is ready for use, and is recommended for the publisher line in the file entry. However, improvements, suggestions and comments are very much welcome... please direct those discussions to the talk page.

This template creates a standardized publisher line. The point of this template is so that automatic publisher lists can be generated in the future, making manual editing of publisher lists unnecessary. Of course, various filters can be used on the lists if necessary, making it much more flexible than manually created lists.

The syntax is as follows:

{{Publisher|<Publisher Identifer>|(<Place of Publication>)|(<Date of Publication>)|(<Edition Number>)|(<Plate Number>)|(<Publication Series Name (Ausgabes, etc.)>)}}

Arguments in brackets are optional; not giving them is equal to giving an empty string.
