Misc. Comments
- Fredo is a young man of the court. However, no tournaments and battles for him: he hangs out with the musicians and dreams of playing with them, traveling from town to town. Alto in G is preferred for this piece.
The works Fredo's chanson, Autumn's Allemande, The Queen's Minuet, Guarding the Cannon, The Royal Twins, The Visitor from Afar, The Cook's Estampie, The Last Pavane, Piper on the Ramparts at Dawn can be played separately or as a suite.
