Misc. Comments

The Folk High School Song (Text) Book – reached its tenth edition in 1922, but the (Melody Book) of the same year constituted the first collected book of melodies to go with it. Nielsen participated in the editorial work, which had started in 1919 by invitation from Foreningen for Højskoler og Landbrugsskoler. Nielsen's contribution to the melody book's first edition comprises thirty-three songs, all of which previously had been printed, although the arrangement differs in many cases.
