Misc. Comments

It appears that in this tiento that Cabanilles is making use of the blending effect of a reverberant space as part of the composition. This piece is very different if performed 'dry' and at a fast tempo, and sounds odd (to me) and is less effective when performed in that way. See also Tiento octavo tono Correado, WSC 42 especially, for a similar use of reverberant space. Wrshannon 16:04, 24 November 2015 (EST)
