URTEXT EDITION
This "urtext" or "scholarly" (scientific) edition was published at least 25 years ago in the EU (or 20 years ago in Italy, before 1992 in the former USSR). Hence, the edition is public domain in its country of origin or a government publication. Such editions are also public domain in Canada because they fail to meet the minimum 'threshold of originality' to qualify for copyright as an 'adaptation'. They may not be public domain elsewhere. More information about this can be found here.
Please obey the copyright laws of your country. IMSLP does not assume any sort of legal responsibility or liability for the consequences of downloading files that are not in the public domain in your country.

In the USA this work is most likely in the public domain because no renewal was found after a thorough search of the Catalog of Copyright Entries or the Copyright Office website. It was either ineligible for "restoration" under GATT/TRIPs and/or no record of an NIE filing was found in the online records of the US Copyright Office.

Misc. Comments

Exists in several manuscript sources which attribute this work to various composers (CPE/WF Bach, JG/CH Graun) and display various instrumental combinations including fl, vn, bc ; fl, cemb obligato ; 2 vn, bc. The instrumentation (flute, violin, cello (viola)) suggested in the Moeck Verlag edition is not original. Perhaps if the parts from this edition are found, they could be uploaded as arrangements.
