“Wood in the Fridge”

Hi Christopher,

thanks for the upload. Don't you have the Gloria as well? Also as a suggestion for revision, the typeset is wasteful of paper - some pages could easily have accomodated multiple systems and reduced the page count, since the Kyrie and Benedictus comprise only two systems of music yet are stretched out to two pages.

Hi Philip,

I have done the Credo and first set of responses. What's left is the second set, the Pater Noster (Lord's Prayer) and the Gloria. I work on them during lulls in my day job. I use MuseScore (Beta) and am still learning all it's niceties. As with most Open Source applications, the instructions are a bit lean. Christopher Braginetz

LilyPond is also free and open-source (actually, not sure about that part- contributing to the development is open to all (with, I presume, a working knowledge of C++ and Scheme- though have also helped a bit myself just to test out an interim version...) - I think one can download the source freely too, but it is in continuing development also) but is actually generally rather better about grouping pages - bit of a pain to learn, but I recommend it. Result can look very nice, too. Eric 09:18, 23 June 2013 (EDT)
