1. A new template has been created for you to use, since you're uploading a number of things from the University of Louisville Music Library. Simply paste the following item {{ULmuslib}} into the "Scanner" field when uploading something and the link will be there.
2. Use the template {{FE}} instead of typing in "First edition". This fives the desired text and it puts the page into the category of "Pages with First Editions"
3. Please do not blank your talk page as it is helpful to admins to see what issues you might need help with. Understanding how the USA server works and that there items free in the USA (early Irving Berlin pieces, for example) which are still under copyright in Canada. Hello, JP3: I notice you have been tagging some of your uploads, however, only official members of the tagging team are supposed to do tagging. Much as the help is appreciated, I notice that some of the works have been wrongly tagged. Please leave this part of the uploading process to the tagging team. Thanks for the uploads, though!! (and I wouldn't mind more clarinet works, since I see that you are a professional clarinetist . . .) Becky
Hi JP3! Thanks for all the great uploads. I just wanted to let you know that I've created a category that will display all work pages on which the ULmuslib template has been used. This will give you a nice overview of all the scores you've uploaded from your university's library. You can see it here: Category:Scores from the University of Louisville Music Library. Thanks! --Cypressdome 04:22, 18 January 2012 (UTC)
there seem to have been several Corsins - Louis Corsin (MusicSack link) who died in 1822 (harpist), and a number of Corsinis who might have gone by Corsin perhaps. When in doubt about death year, put in an upper bound by last-known work (use Worldcat.org or Musicsack or any source available to estimate- or put the date you do know in death year rather than birth year) to prevent the automatics from assuming the fellow's still alive and in copyright :) Eric 20:13, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
we both goofed- the composer on that score was clearly Kummer, not Küffner :) Someone pointed that out ... Eric 09:33, 21 March 2012 (EDT) (there is a Küffner op.75- his symphony no.1, which may be arranged as a flute and guitar etc- I doubt piano, btw except maybe in posthumous editions - trio - anyhow, see List of compositions by Joseph Küffner.)
Hi, Your autofill or something similar must be turned on as you appear to have uploaded a number of printed scores recently as "Manuscript Scan". This isn't that big of a deal as the "manuscripts" category is in sore need of cleaning up as it stands (one of the many little projects around here that has been lying around unattended for some time). At any rate, I thought you might like to know. Carolus 21:54, 22 March 2012 (EDT)
