Re: How i translate pages?
It is also the second time a left you a message here, but somehow you did not understand. Placing a message on the ARCHIVE of my talk page is not very efficient. Read IMSLP:Internationalization --Peter talk 13:32, 30 July 2008 (EDT)
Can you finally STOP deleting English pages like you did in IMSLP:Babel?? This is the third time. It's nice you translate, but it does not mean you have to delete the original version.--Peter talk 15:59, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
- Protecting parts of pages is not possible. But the strange thing is in some pages you show you can add a correct translation, and in other you delete the original. If something is not clear to you, you can always ask for help! --Peter talk 11:54, 10 September 2008 (EDT)
Hello Jcegobrain, I made some changes to the Internationalization page, and there will probably be more changes in the near future. As is now pointed out, all translations should be done from the English only (the reasons are explained on the page). In particular, translators will have to understand English. Therefore I have deleted your translation of the Internationalization page itself. I'm sorry to erase your work, but I believe that keeping the translation updated would be a waste of time, as every translator should be able to use the English page. Thanks and greetings, --Leonard Vertighel 12:57, 22 January 2009 (EST)
- Hello again, I'm not sure if I made myself clear: I only deleted the translation of the one page "Internationalization". This is because translators need to know English. People who do not understand English can not be translators. I have not deleted any translation of any other page. We still need translations of all the other project pages. Thanks for your help, --Leonard Vertighel 11:02, 23 January 2009 (EST)
