User talk:Luis Félix Parodi Ortega

Hola Sr. Ortega. Sample files

Hi. We do not accept sample files, so please do not upload them. If that is your only option due to copyright issues, please say so and we will remove your works from the site. Thanks, KGill talk email 20:43, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi again. Since you blanked all of the pages for your works, I assumed that you aren't in a position to release the complete scores of them, so I went ahead and deleted them. Cheers, KGill talk email 20:59, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Titles of Works

Dear Luis,

Please do not put titles in CAPITAL LETTERS. If you notice the other titles on this site, you will see that they follow a standard capitalization rule. Also, for multi-volume works such as your Enciclopedia de perfeccionamiento de la téncnica pianística, it is generally easiest for users to have all of the volumes available on a single page for downloading. How many volumes did you do in this series? I recall from your previous postings that you had at least 8. If the Enciclopedia is intended as a course of etudes or studies for pianists, having it all available on a single page is a really the best option. I also highly recommend that composers of original works like yourself use the Creative Commons Attribution Non-commercial 3.0 version of the license, as this prevents people from duplicating your work and selling it on Ebay without telling you - which they do when you employ only the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 version. Glad to see you are able to post your work here again. Thanks, Carolus 04:02, 4 August 2010 (UTC) (IMSLP Copyright Admin)

Your Op.32

I notice that you appear to have two movements of a larger work - Missa? posted as separate pages. It's always advisable to have different sections of movements of a single work or opus on the same page, unless the work is so large (like Wagners Der Ring) that it is too much for a single page. This also goes for different scorings of the same work (partitur, klavierauszug, stimmen, etc.). For example, your work Cuatro Piezas, Op.28 appears to have versions for both harp and for trumpets. Both versions of Op.28 should be on the same page. This makes it much easier for people looking through your works to navigate them. There is no need for separate pages as our category walker enables users to find all versions for different instrumentation. Thanks and Best Wishes, Carolus 04:35, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

Alonso, Antonio Álvarez

Antonio is the name. Álvarez Alonso are the two last names. It should appear in their indexes like this: Álvarez Alonso, Antonio. Therefore it is not correct as it appears now: Alonso, Antonio Álvarez. Thank you.
