Hello, Nct. Lilypond files are not accepted because they are non-compiled files. If you can compile pdf files from your .ly-files there will be no problem. Normally the lilypond program (which is the best notation software btw :), comes with a pdf compiler. You can read here how to make a pdf. Good luck and do not hesitate to contact us! --Peter talk 07:17, 2 May 2007 (EDT)

Hi Peter,

I've already uploaded the pdf. As I don't mind if people modify my compositions, it could be nice to provide them with the lilypond file in addition to the pdf. Perhaps we can provide a link to the lilypond file hosted somewhere else. It would be a shame if someone had to rewrite something already written. --Nct 08:05, 2 May 2007 (EDT)

One possibility, if you can't/don't want to host the Lilypond files yourself is, of course, submission to the Mutopia Project, though I tend to agree that we should accept them, as long as there's also a PDF, since we accept Sibelius and .MUS files. --Emeraldimp 11:01, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
