Dmitry Blagoy

Hello Nut1978,
Dmitry Blagoy died only in 1986. None of his works is public domain in Canada, US and EU. Do you have the permission to post his works? Please answer here (by clicking on the "edit" tab on top of the page.) Otherwise it will be deleted. Thanks, Hobbypianist 20:33, 5 September 2011 (UTC)

-- Hello, Hobbypianist! I am Dmitry Blagoy's daughter, Anna Blagaya. Our family wants his works to be available for public. Please inform me what tag I should place here (because it is my first experience in downloading to IMSLP). Thanks, Anna (Nut1978)

PS At there is a list for downloading other scores: I would like to download them here, as well as some audio.

Hello Anna Blagaya,
thanks a lot for your response! Ok, then we have the permission from you to host D. Blagoy's works here on IMSLP.
As you can see from my user talk page we first had to discuss some points, so my answer comes a few days later. Here a short summary: you can upload the works published by Soviet State Music Publishing companies like Muzgiz or Soviet Kompozitor. If a vocal work contains lyrics of an author who died more than 50 years ago it's ok. Please remove covers if they contain artwork. If an editor is mentioned we must check if the editorial work (for example fingering, phrasing, etc.) is significant or not.
We usually recommend the licence: Creative Commons Attribution Non-commercial 3.0 to prevent the works from being sold (...eBay, etc.) Hence I have changed this, if you don't agree you can change it back to Creative Commons Attribution 3.0. Regards, Hobbypianist 19:29, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

Hello Hobbypianist,
thank you very much for your help!
I am very much impressed by discussion on your page and such a deep study of the topic.
P.S. At the beginning of a web page,_Dmitry is still a warning: "All works by this person are still under copyright in Canada, the EU, Japan, and elsewhere and are thus subject to deletion". Should I remove it somehow?
Regards, Anna Blagaya (Nut 1978), 9.09.2011

P.P.S. I have still some problems with downloading files and they are unfortunately blocked. A.Blagaya. 11.09.11

Hi Anna! I'm not Hobbypianist but I saw your message and thought I would respond. Don't worry about the notice on your father's category page about his works not being in the public domain. In most countries in the world his works won't be public domain until either 50 or 70 years after his death. Since you've chosen to make his works available to the public under a Creative Commons license they will be available to users to download. Currently, IMSLP is in the process of merging the collection of the Werner Icking Music Archive and as a result there is a large backlog of submissions that have to be cleared by our copyright reviewers. Once they clear the scores you've submitted they will be available to download. Thanks for contributing! --Cypressdome 20:29, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

Hi Cypressdome! Thanks a lot!! :) Best wishes, Anna.

Selected Works / 2 Pieces for Piano

Hello Anna. Just to let you know that I've split the files for these collections into their constituent parts, and moved them to the appropriate work pages. Hope that's OK — P.davydov 11:53, 11 September 2011 (UTC)

Thanks a lot! - Nut1978
