Question: I have a Dover publication entitled Saudades do Brazil and Other Works for Piano, which contains eight early piano works by Milhaud, all of which were published between 1914 and 1922. Judging by these works' dates of publication and by the fact that Dover reprinted them, I am led to conclude that they are PD in the United States. However, I'm hesitant to upload them, as I don't know whether they're still under copyright in Canada and The EU. Could someone please apprise me of these works' international copyright status? --Pierrot 19:58, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

They'll be in copyright in Canada and the EU until 2025, and so not eligible for this site. The Milhaud composer page you created has been deleted. Sorry — P.davydov 20:17, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

Holst: The Perfect Fool

Dear Pierrot, The vocal score you posted, while PD in the USA (where Sibley Library is located), is not PD in Canada due to the fact that it was arranged by Holst's student Vally Lasker (1885-1978), whose death was much less than 50 years ago. Sorry, it had to be deleted. Carolus 16:50, 13 October 2009 (UTC) (IMSLP Copyrght Admin)
