Thanks for some of your typesets, BKhon 20:24, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
Hallo Tobias,
super, vielen Dank!! Hab das Künstlerportal auf der Hauptseite verlinkt. Gruß, Hobbypianist 17:03, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
moved the title to the new page... not sure if that was your question; can insert a line in the worklist too? Eric 20:29, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
Thanks a lot, it's perfect. Tobias
As to the other question, the title can't be changed because it's the URL of the page... if I am understanding. so one automatically creates a new page by changing it :) Eric 20:48, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
Hello. It seems we're both working on the JS Bach worklist just now, and there's a danger of confusion :-) I've been researching this for months, and would like to see it through to the end, if you wouldn't mind? Thanks — P.davydov 15:44, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
Im August letzten Jahres wurde im Forum von IMSLP das Concerto Nr.5, BWV 596 (nach Vivaldi) gesucht. In deinem Archiv ist es vorhanden. Könnte man es bei IMSLP einstellen? Notenschreiber 08:02, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
Dear TobisNotenarchiv,
Thank you for your very useful edition of In Dulci Jubilo. Question: shouldn't this also be available under Johann Michael Bach [1]? LeonardoCiampa 04:10, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
Was es alles gibt - noch nie davon gehört! Na ja, das will nicht viel heißen... Cheers --Ralph Theo Misch 00:49, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
Dear Tobis,
I see that you're adding quite a few new typesets, for which we thank you. You might want to consider using the Creative Commons Attribution Non-commercial 3.0 (cc-by-nc) license for your typesets, as the simple attribution allows for third parties to copy your files and sell them on Ebay. I realize that you will have to change the license after upload as I think it allows only the simple attribution for typesets at present. Best Wishes, Carolus 05:15, 21 January 2011 (UTC) (IMSLP Copyright Admin)
you'll find with Bach works that spending a minute looking at bach-cantatas.com can be very helpful - the work you typeset is generally considered to be by F. Durante, for instance. Eric 22:15, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
of course, hope I didn't put a "spanner in the works", do any damage, that sort of thing. Thank you. Eric 22:01, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
Hi Tobi. I noticed that you had changed a a tag on this page to read "pieces ; piano" rather than "pieces ; pf". The original was actually correct. Maybe you accidentally thought that it was the instrumentation, but in the future, please don't change the tags. The reason is because only members of the categorization team are permitted to change or add tags. Thanks, Lndlewis10 01:20, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
separated out a new section for works Ohne, hence WoO, opus number and put symphony 10 in it. Eric 16:56, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
--Ralph Theo Misch 22:25, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
Hi TobisNotenarchiv. Your excellent work around the site has not gone unnoticed, and it is clear that you are both competent and highly motivated. In addition, it is more than possible that in the fall, the copyright review team will find itself short of members - Carolus (team leader) may go on his yearly month-long vacation in September, and I will be largely unable to contribute from September to December (we are the team's two most active contributors at the moment). Because of this, the admins are interested to know if you would like to take the copyright review test and become a member of the team. What do you think? Thanks, KGill talk email 01:18, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
Hi Tobi. You are currently in consideration to become an IMSLP administrator. Being asked to join the moderation team is a sign that you are considered to have the responsibility, good judgement, and dedication to gain and use a set of extra privileges (page and file deletion, blocking other users, and so forth). Would you consent to being promoted? Thanks, KGill talk email 23:22, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
Wow! Thanks for the speedy translation of the revised contributors portal - it looks great. --Icactus 16:41, 7 August 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for fixing those. Cheers-- Snailey (_@/) Talk to Me Email me 21:13, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
If you look at the Sherman catalog of Michael Haydn's Symphony which Garland published in 1982 as front matter to selected Symphonies by Eberlin, Adlgasser and Haydn, you will see that the only Symphony in D minor is No. 29, not No. 30. Sherman and Thomas in the later catalog of all of Haydn's music quietly leave off the 1982 numbers, so what CPO does now is have the "extra" early Symphonies numbered 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D. Plus there is some disagreement as to which of Perger 23 and Perger 24 was written first. But the only place I have ever seen the D minor referred to as "No. 30" is on a Farbermann recording. See for example http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=8072078 Alonso del Arte 22:22, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
please be careful to do cleanup afterwards and take care of double redirects- thanks! :) Eric 20:02, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
ah, apologies - was referring to the Reubke organ sonata page - fixed it anycase. (Fine work I think... ) Sorry about my tone...!! Eric 20:11, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
Hallo Tobias,
"Files of sheetmusic" wäre vielleicht besser.Notenschreiber 05:58, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
Hi TobisNotenarchiv. I was looking at your nice scan and wondered if this piece was part of a compilation of different pieces, which can therefore stand on its own, or if it is one part of a set of pieces by Trautner meant to be together. For example, a movement from something like "5 Pieces for Piano, Op.24". Respectfully yours, Emery 20:03, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
Hi Emery, the book has the title (translated) Organ pieces of new composers. For use in service and education published by Ludiwg Hartmann and Dr. Heinrich Schmidt. It is a collection of 18 organ pieces from different composers. After uploading all files I will create an index and place it on every work page for people that want to have the whole collection. --TobisNotenarchiv 20:10, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
Unfortunately VIAF seems to defer to de-Wikipedia, and D-NB and de-Wikipedia, I think, do not seem to give further references. Still, may be able to find out further information- will have to see if I can. Eric 02:49, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
Hallo, TobisNotenarchiv, vielen Dank für die Hilfe! Grüße von --Ralph Theo Misch 00:17, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
Dear TobisNotenarchiv, I tried to link my page to perfomances on YT (using Live Video button), but eventually none of my pieces have been found in Petrucci Library by the application to which I was redirected. Rgds.
