Performances

I (also?) used to create a number of MIDI performances myself so as to be better able to hear lesser-known works - anyhow- writing to thank you for your realizations (especially :) since I notice that some of your uploads are attached to works that I (like others) have transferred from the Library of Congress, etc. ... and now will get to hear, which I appreciate! ) Eric 15:13, 11 February 2012 (UTC)

Minor upload issues

Your uploads are going very nicely overall. A few points and reminders -

  1. Since you already have a performer section, it is best not to list yourself as editor also unless you actually have a PDF score available for download. In the publisher field, simply use "Jos Van Roy".
  2. Be sure to always include the template {{WIMAProject}} in the "Misc. Notes" field.
  3. For timings, we prefer the format MM:SS - use colon to separate minutes and seconds.

Interesting collection of MIDI files, and very well done overall. Quite a few of the things you've done have probably never been recorded conventionally.

Or on acoustic discs maybe (it's possible) but I suspect Carolus is right. E.g. thanks for the Scholtz MIDIs (say), I remember having a look at the LoC scans and am now glad to hear the works too. Enjoyable music and sometimes I think with memorable melodic gifts. If I may recommend re one minor problem also (sorry!) which is easily fixed after the fact- on a page like Albumblätter, Op.1 (Scholtz, Herrmann) it should be clearer in the MIDI section that the MIDI is just of one of the Albumblätter (like the rest of the page - sometime someone will upload the other one, hopefully...), not of both of them :). Otherwise "MIDI Performance" tends to imply complete MIDI performance (of both). Thanks again! Eric 08:21, 9 March 2012 (EST)
