Misc. Notes:
This concerto is written in A Major. Solo Viola should play "in scordatura" a step higher. The copyist preferred to transpose all orchestral parts a step lower so that the solo viola avoids this unconfortable tuning. For this reason some notes of second violins are too low to be played and should be replaced. In a footer note, this manuscript is dated 1936 (and should be "urtext")
