Die Partitur des Werkes ist seit der Absage des Draeseke-Musikfestes in Liegnitz, 1942, verschollen. Die IDG hat den Komponisten und profunden Draeseke-Kenner Wolfgang Müller-Steinbach mit einer Rekonstruktion des Orchestersatzes betraut. Diese rekonstruierte Fassung wird voraussichtlich noch 2013 im Musikverlag Florian Noetzel, ars musica, Wilhelmshaven erscheinen. Grundlage der Rekonstruktion ist der hier bereitgestellte Klavierauszug, SLUB Dresden, Mus. 7099-B-501.

  • Portions of this unpublished work seem to have been harvested melodically and otherwise for the Scene in G minor for violin and piano (opus 69, published 1899) and his first viola alta sonata (1892).
