Misc. Comments

Parts are at the Library of Congress it seems (link.)

According to Gerhard Heldt, Das deutsche nachromantische Violinkonzert..., Ernest wrote two violin concertos of which this is the first.

Premiere(?): Signale für die musikalische Welt, 67. Jährg. No. 8, p.300 (1909) reports on an English concert in which the composer (resident in England at the time, if I read correctly) conducted this concerto (and Wessely played violin). This took place in "Sydenham Conservatory".
