Misc. Comments

The sonata for violin and piano in G major is presumably one of Nielsen's earliest compositions. No public performances are known, but it seems that the sonata was performed by Nielsen and a fellow-musician, Olfert Jespersen, at a private event presumably shortly after its composition.
