Recorded in 1999 by Stephan Barratt-Due, violin and Øyvind Aase, piano on an album also including the violin sonata no.1 op.2 and two other works (on the Norwegian label Thema.)

first published by Hofmeister in 1915 acc. to HMB . (Sibley says as much - "previously published by etc.") and by Hansen. Dutch Royal Library entry says published by Hansen in 1916 and by Hofmeister the same year (?), composed 1915-1916. (!) (However: Worldcat has: ©1916, Hofmeister. so HMB received a pre-publication copy, perhaps, or- something...) Indeed, above score copublished with Hofmeister as is clear from its cover.
