Navigation etc.

Not absolutely positive about key assignment- it opens with a bit of D minor, then what seems to be the main part of the first movement enters in B, etc., then the first movement ends in D minor- the finale begins and ends in D (minor to major) - Schumann's first string quartet does something similar (A minor opening, F major Allegro, finale in A minor) and is usually considered as being in A minor, but one can cite examples the other way... hrrmm. (Cobbett's agrees with me I gather, open to any information that may turn up as to the composer's intentions. Hoping for more information biographical and otherwise about the composer anyway, but that which has been unearthed has taken some digging, it seems...) - Schissel
