Misc. Notes Other selections from the opera seem to have been released in 1882 by Ditson, as was the complete vocal score; LoC has digitized at least one or two other selections, so far. (The cover of this selection notes that another version of this song, for contralto, is available, and three other selections- songs for soprano, tenor and one duet for soprano and alto.)

Misc. Comments

Re chorus: An interesting (and somewhat detailed) August 22 1883 New York Times review does confirm that this work has a chorus (not to be taken for granted in a 19th-century opera. It is noted that Pratt's ambitions are to start a national school of American opera, even if in the reviewer's opinion he falls short of his goal, despite a number of positive qualities to the work which he enumerates.)
