== Bassano, Giovanni vs. Augustine ==

Would you please reinstate the composer page for Augustine Bassano and transfer the Gagliard edited by Peter Philips from the Giovanni page to the Augustine page. The pdf files themselves have the correct composer. I would do the transfer but I am unsure of any linkages involved. I will then add the other Augustine Bassano pieces to this new composer page. :Hi Lndlewis10. I'm glad you like the page, but there are some things that could definitely be improved. If memory serves, I don't think a law degree is required to work on the copyright office. I guess I do technically do have a degree in musicology, but I really don't remember too much about it anymore. My dissertation involved some details on publishing and copyright, which is how I picked up interest and maybe a little bit of knowledge on copyright law. I really don't know too much about it though, I've lost touch with that type of research. I worked in my local library for some time, and eventually ended up in the copyright office by a curious turn of events. I'm on a leave of absence right now due to my condition, but that gives me more time to do some personal research into the musical fields that interest me most. Actually, all pages of the full score of No.1 and perc. parts are displayed correctly, I've just downloaded them. I use Firefox and Adobe Reader 9. :My apologies, the problem was not IE but rather that I was trying to use Adobe Acrobat (version 5.0) instead of the free Acrobat Reader to open the files. == Missing scores ==

The last page of the Harp-file of march 1 is missing. It stops after "Q" and the march continues until "T". Does anyone have the complete file, please?
:Many of the harp parts from the OM set are sub-standard or missing, and I note that both harp parts (1 and 2) are missing the same passage of music from figure '''R''' onwards. Hopefully someone can scan these two missing pages. In the meantime I’ve added the <nowiki>{{Missing}}</nowiki> template which adds the page to a list of scores with similar issues. == Accidental Accidents ==

Especially in the main section where it is in the key of G, many times are there notes that seem as though they should have accidentals...
There are also a couple of chords that contain incorrect rhythms...

Sorry it took me so long! There are a few notes in that first march trio for the piano part that don't seem right; as in in the fourth measure of the fifth page, for example. The 'C' should probably be a 'C#'. In the orchestral part, for what would be that same note, that same note is sharp. I think that occurs twice or thrice. The other times I notice this, typically, are similar; as in one note should be sharp but isn't.

Quienes hacemos el '''Proyecto IMSLP''' creemos que la música debe ser algo fácilmente accesible para todos.

Con este fin hemos creado este Proyecto tendiente a ofrecer partituras gratuita y libremente a cualquier persona que pueda tener acceso a internet (dado que para la liberación definitiva del arte falta aún un gran trecho).

Por este motivo la '''Biblioteca Internacional de Partituras Musicales''' tendrá ''siempre'' acceso libre y gratuito.

==Objetivos==

El objetivo máximo del '''Proyecto IMSLP''' es reunir todas las partituras musicales bajo [[dominio público]], además de aquellas de autores contemporáneos que deseen ofrecerlas al público bajo una licencia [[CC-SA o similar]].

Otro de los principales objetivos del Proyecto es facilitar el intercambio de ideas musicales: (por ejemplo, el análisis de una pieza en particular). Por este motivo, siéntase libre de crear una página con su análisis de alguna pieza (por favor utilice la "Discusión" en la página de esa pieza en particular). Para discusiones generales, preguntas relacionadas con el proyecto IMSLP, solicitud de partituras, etc. puede utilizar los [http://www.imslpforums.com foros]

Esperamos crear una creciente comunidad de músicos y amantes de la música en general que puedan usar este sitio como plataforma para disfrutar de este arte.
