According to Davitt Moroney, '''M. de la Pierre le vieux''' is probably ''Monsieur Paul de la Pierre'' who had several children: '''M. de la Pierre L'ésné''' (l'aine, the elder),also named Paul (Paolo) (born c.1637-died after 1689) and a younger son, '''Théophyle de la Pierre''', which daughter Jeanne (Giovanna) Constance will become Marc-Roger Normand's spouse in 1725.
Several harpsichord pieces by those composers are handwritten in the ''Livre de Tablature de Clavescin de Mr. de Druent écrit par Couperin'' [https://imslp.org/wiki/Category:Normand%2C_Marc_Roger (Marc-Roger Normand)], Turin (ca.1695). Minkoff Reprint (1998). Davitt Moroney editor.
According to Dietz, in Grove Music, "Two popular ‘arias by Durante’, which persistently appear even in modern anthologies of Italian songs, ''Danza, danza fanciulla'' and ''Vergin tutt’ amore'', are nothing but solfeggios to which texts and elaborate piano accompaniments were added in the 19th century." It is unclear whether the original would have had an accompaniment part; in Grove's work list, some of Durante's solfeggi have continuo accompaniment, others do not. Tagged as having a continuo accompaniment for now, but this is obviously subject to correction.

"Vergin tutt' amor" (thus!) ("Vergin tutto amor" is grammatically incorrect, although Vergin tutta amor is acceptable), initially published without even a title as a wordless solfeggio (tempo Andante in D minor) with a bass continuo accompaniment in Solfeges d'Italie,1772 no.128 to which text and harmony first time anonymously appeared only in Echos d'Italie vol.6,1874.
In modern form with the romantic piano accompaniment it was published by {{Plain|https://imslp.org/wiki/Category:Parisotti,_Alessandro|A.Parisotti}} (1853-1913) in {{Plain|https://imslp.org/wiki/Arie_Antiche_(Parisotti,_Alessandro)|Arie Antiche}} vol.2,1890
| *****COMMENTS***** =

"Vergin tutt' amor" (thus!) ("Vergin tutto amor" is grammatically incorrect), initially published without even a title as a wordless solfeggio (tempo Andante in D minor) with a bass continuo accompaniment in Solfeges d'Italie,1772 no.128 to which text and harmony first time anonymously appeared only in Echos d'Italie vol.6,1874,edited by {{Plain|https://imslp.org/wiki/Category:Pagans,_Lorenzo|L.Pagans}}) (1833-1883),a spanish tenor, who may set the words and the arrangement.
| *****COMMENTS***** =No traditional notation here: only ancient keyboard tablature.
The front page gives "MDXXCIII" as the year of publication which is not the usual way [1500 + (100-20) + 3]; in Roman numerals, 1583 would rather read "MDLXXXIII".
Some of the dances were published earlier by [http://imslp.org/wiki/Category:Mainerio%2C_Giorgio Giorgio Mainerio] in his [[Il Primo Libro de Balli (Mainerio, Giorgio)|''Primo Libro de Balli'']], Venice, 1578. This leaves the possibility that these organ intabulations should be re-tagged as arrangements; both originals would have to be analysed to see how much original input is in Paix's versions.
