Navigation etc.
There are at least 3 sets of string quartets by Saint-Georges - this one, another, and op.14.
This set was recorded in 1978 by the Quatuor à cordes Jean-Noël Molard (a recording reissued, I think, on CD in 1998 on Arion. Durations above based on this recording). A set from 1777 (the second or third set of his string quartets, or even a later one?- probably the second) is available on CD played by the Coleridge Quartet.
Op.14 (published 1785) is available on CD, too (Apollon String Quartet, 2005). On the title page of the first edition, it is called both "3. livre" and Op.14. So it's almost certain that the set from 1777 is the second set.
The second set (c.1777 without opus number) is available in the digital collection of Bavarian State Library. Unfortunately, in the first violin part, only page 1-2 are from Saint-Georges' second set (page 3-13 are from another - not yet indentified - work).
