This partita does not appear in the J. G. Walther Sämtliche Orgelwerke by Klaus Beckman, Bärenreiter, (1998). So, it would be interesting to know on what grounds this abridged set of variations by Pachelbel (cf. P.377a) and perfectly in the style of this composer, is here attributed to Walther to whom it is completely estrange stylistically.
Besides, the melody is actually not the same as Bach's own setting BWV 643.
