History

Apollo-Verlag of Berlin published popular music (vocal and piano) from 1896. Many items were by Paul Lincke (1866–1946), the great Berlin operetta composer.
This was similar to Glocken-Verlag of Vienna, which was founded by Linke's contemporary Franz Lehár (1870–1948) in 1935 to publish his works.
