On the first cover page and on the first page of music in the publication by Gérard the work is listed as Op.50bis. On the second cover page it is listed as Op.52. Schott published a work entitled Le premier Soupir. Nocturne de Salon as Quidant's Op.52 (Monatsbericht (1862), p.64) and also published Colinette as Op.51 No.1 (Monatsbericht (1862), p.218). Schott's publication of Op.50 was a work entitled Improvisation sur Orphée, de Gluck. Fantaisie pathétique (Monatsbericht (1861), p.51).
