A title page in the middle of the MS says "per Dessus viole, Violino, Violetta e Violoncello". So, this is NOT for the bass viol, but for the treble viol. (I wish IMSLP had a separate category for treble viola da gamba in stead of combining all viols into one category. It would be so much easier to find the relevant treble viol parts and scores if I didn't have to look through all the pieces for bass viol.)
