History

Hippolyt Böhm of Graz, Austria published popular music- songs piano pieces and violin pieces, from 1916 to 1935. Typical composers were Hans Neuner, 1867-1931, Wilhelm Thöny, 1888-1949, Alois Pachernegg, 1892-1964, Heinrich von Hammer-Purgstall, Felix Mauracher, and Franz Pannocha.
Better-known composers were Carl Böhm and the violinist Willy Burmester.
The firm published many items by Nikolaus Mostler (1879-1963), a local harpist who was appointed Imperial Kammervirtuose in 1904.
