Extra Information This piece was orchestrated by Tchaikovsky in September-October 1892 at Sophie Menter's request. The suggestion that this piece was originally written for Menter by Franz Liszt as a "Piano Concerto in the Hungarian Style" is now thought unlikely by most Liszt scholars.
