While not published until 1879 (alongside the BGA), the ms. parts were apparently in sufficient circulation to be referred to in Erk's (ca.?) 1850 book Johann Sebastian Bachs mehrstimmige Choralgesänge und geistliche Arien, Volume 1 (which mentions the "originalstimmen" as his source for his no.64 which comes from the conclusion of this cantata.)
