  • The Kistner edition gives the instrumentation as "pour la Violon principal avec accompagnement de Quatuor et de Contra-Basse ou de Piano"
  • According to RISM, the original manuscript is held at the Lippische Landesbibliothek, Detmold, but a search of this library doesn't seem to bring up the details (possibly manuscripts are searched in another way).
  • RISM lists the title as: "[cover title:] Carneval in Venedig
