According to Deutsch, the manuscript, which is not in Schubert's hand, consists of the dance without a title or an author's name. In the back, there is a Tyrolean song titled "Wann ich in der Früh aufstehe" ("When I get up in the morning") and twelve incipits under the heading "12 German Dances" (Wiener StadtbibI., MH 157/c [PhA 1107]. Brown, Ms.19. The manuscript was in the possession of Nicolaus Dumbas, who had probably purchased it from the estate of Ferdinand Schubert. Contrary to Reinhard van Hoorickx's assumption, the Tyrolean song and the incipits on the back of the manuscript were not composed by Schubert.
