- A more recent critical version was transcribed and edited by Thurston Dart and published in 1960 with a second edition in 1962 by Stainer & Bell (Plate S.& B. 5475). Although Thurston Dart refers to Dr Rimbault as the former owner of the single copy known to exist of this work, he nowhere refers to Rimbault's edition. Instead he states he has based
his edition on the third of the "Harrow Replicas" (London: Chiswick Press, 1942) together with the collation of later copies. Yet his edition little differs from Rimbault's apart from the addition of ornaments, which are entirely lacking in the latter's.
