Favorite melodies for violin or cello and piano, by contemporary composers, some original and some arranged, graded in three levels for amateur use. It was similar to Les Perles du Violoniste, published by Gebethner and Wolff of Warsaw, also like Kiev in the western lands of the Russian Empire.
