The proposed title for Ricercar No.10 is therefore “Ricercar per Flauto, Cornetto, Violino, Traversa e simili”, i.e. “Ricercar for Recorder, Cornetto, Violin, Traverso and similar”. The mention “in Battaglia” appearing in the title of Ricercar No.7 is not appropriate for Ricercar No.10, and it has not been retained in the transcription. |
