Appears in the Bibliographie de la France in 1881 (and perhaps earlier as just L'Aveu); this is indeed an arrangement, however. The original version of ca.1877 does not seem to have registered in the Bibliographie or elsewhere.
There is also a voice and piano arrangement with words by L. (Luigi, one assumes) Bordèse (apparently authorized by Thomé or even possibly in consultation with him?) published by Durand in 1892/early 1893.
