Miscellaneous Comments

This is an early version of the Bandenburg Concerto No. 1, BWV 1046. It differs in scoring, which is for 3 Oboes, Bassoon, 2 Horns, Continuo and Strings. It is believed to have been composed in Weimar around 1713. It is apparently the same as BWV 1071.
